Nissin UFO × Donbei Dashi Sauce Kitsune Yakisoba

This special instant yakisoba was launched in Japan to celebrate the 50th anniversaries of both Nissin Donbei and Nissin Yakisoba U.F.O.

Instead of U.F.O.’s usual intensely savoury yakisoba sauce, this edition uses a special sauce formulated with:

• 70% Donbei-inspired dashi character
• 30% U.F.O.-style sauce character

The sauce combines soy sauce, bonito, kelp, vinegar and seasoning ingredients to create a flavour that sits between Japanese dashi noodles and traditional sauce yakisoba.

Seasoned pieces of fried tofu provide the familiar “kitsune” element associated with Donbei Kitsune Udon. A separate finishing powder adds bonito aroma and a restrained touch of shichimi chilli.
