This Kit Kat is flavored with Jersey Yogurt Sake powdered liquor from Niizawa Brewery in Miyagi Prefecture. Jersey cows played a major role in the recovery of the Tohoku region after the earthquake and tsunami in 2011. Their Jersey Yogurt Sake is a specialty product of the region that can’t be transported long distances due to its short shelf-life, even in Japan. Nestle Japan is sharing the taste of this unique rice wine with this new Kit Kat flavor. This precious product gives the Kit Kat a rich and creamy tang that blends with the sweetness of the chocolate.
