The best popcorn in the world. I can relate to their slogan. Each popcorn is round and wholesome. Comes in a can form which i like because I can save it for next time. When you first eat it, you don’t taste the wasabi, which make it very ‘wasabi’. It’s 2-3 seconds later when the wasabi flavour kicks in. I don’t take wasabi, by the way but I really love this.

Mum bought it for me. You know, how Asian mums express their love by giving you food. So, when she gave me this, I wasn’t expecting much because she is not really into snacks. Boy, was I so wrong. I tried one and I followed by finishing up the can in 2 days (with a lot of discipline).

I can’t believe I (who hates wasabi) is rating this 5/5! The smell of wasabi is strong when I opened it, but the taste of wasabi was accompanied by a mellow taste that’s easy to eat. It’s a whole new addicting flavour, took me by surprise!

I’m not a huge fan of wasabi because of the heat so I wasn’t sure what was going to happen when I placed a few perfectly popped pieces of popcorn in my mouth. At first you get a lovely sweet flavour like honey and then the wasabi comes in and kicks your mouth (not in a bad way). The burn is nice and slow if you pace yourself but if you shove a huge handful in you can expect that the wasabi will do you a little damage unless you like that 😉
The popcorn itself is wonderfully airy and each piece is popped to perfection. They’re almost all round, they really look like what you see on the can! Plus the amount you get is full to the brim. I didn’t get an uncooked pieces either which usually happens with popcorn but not this one.
My first ever popcorn by these guys and it really was a great experience!!

Absolutely addictive! I wasn’t at all expecting it to be sweet but it really works. It’s not a huge kick of wasabi, rather a spicy burn after the initial hit of sugar. Really easy to keep eating, and a great intro for anyone a bit worried about the reputation of wasabi.
