Pepero, Korea’s counterpart to Pocky, are made by Lotte, a Korean confectionery firm. Pepero is a chocolate-covered or chocolate-filled biscuit stick. In Korea, this snack is so popular that it has its own festival, “Pepero Day.”

I’ve never had a good experience with this plain version of Pepero. They taste really cheap and nasty. I feel like I need to go to Korea and buy a very fresh box as something seems to happen on their journey to Australia. I’ve also tried several sources and all were the same outcome 😞
