I tried a number of salted egg products before. And when you try them side by side, you would know reason for the price difference. I like this Golden Duck Salted Egg Fish Skin most of all. I find that the salted egg taste is very nicely blended with spices and a dash of chilli. It is not too over empowering. Some other brands can be a bit dry.
