Kagoshima is located in the southern-most parts of the Japanese island of Kyushu. It is the only area of Japan where the relatively rare Berkshire black pig is bred. These pigs yield succulent, flavoursome pork meat which is perfect for enjoying with a bowl of ramen.
Cooking instructions
Bring 500ml of water to boil in a pot.
Add the ramen and cook for 3 minutes.
Remove pot from stove and add soup mix.
Add in other ingredients or garnishing as you would like.

This is likely due to history as the ever-popular Tonkatsu ramen actually originates from Kurume city. Kurume Ramen are also slightly thicker than Hakata Ramen which means they take a slightly longer boiling time. Suitable for 2 servings. Cooking instructions Bring 500ml of water to boil in a pot.

A delicious Hakata Nagahama-style pork bone soup prepared by adding onions etc. to pork extract and cooking over high heat, adding white pepper, grit and roasted sesame seeds, and then adjusting the taste with soy sauce. The package includes seasoning oil that brings out the feeling and richness of the pork bone cooking. Serves 2. Cooking instructions Bring 470ml of water to boil in a pot.
Add noodles and cook for 2 minutes.
Remove pot from stove and add soup mix and seasoning oil. Stir well.

Incredibly rich and flavourful broth. Noodles are great thickness and soaked up the broth flavouring beautifully. Might be my new ‘standard’ ramen to keep in the pantry. Went great with ramen eggs.
