How do you get to Salted Egg heaven? Start with real ingredients, naturally. We use salted egg yolks cured to the hue of golden sunlight. We then lovingly coat freshly baked cookies with explosive flavours – first the graininess of real salted eggs, followed by a hint of sweetness. Truly divine.
Can you ever get sick of Bubble Tea? We are addicted to it, but why are we spoiling ourselves over Bubble Tea drinks (and only drinks)? Get this Bubble Tea Candy from Taiwan and you will be impressed how accurate to the point is this Bubble Tea Candy is. In the middle of this soft candy is a Jelly that has a similar texture to the Tapioca balls in your Bubble Tea. We are truly hooked on this!
Suncake, or taiyang bing, is a popular Taiwanese dessert originally from the city of Taichung, Taiwan. The typical fillings consist of maltose (condensed malt sugar). They are usually sold in special gift boxes as souvenirs for visitor and some famous suncake pastry shops always have long lines of people waiting to buy boxed suncakes. Suncakes are round, and they may vary in size. They are characterized by flaky crusts. Most people eat them with Chinese tea, and some people dissolve them in hot water to make a porridge-like dessert.
This snack has been around for ages, as long as I can remember. Their secret formula of being made of good strain of corn that passes the meticulous selection, modern food processing makes their corn taste stand out from the rest. It is crispy, brittle and addictive. They make a good social gathering snack because they are not commonly found in Australia but they taste great nevertheless.
This is a Retro Childhood Nostalgia snack, only that it enjoys worldwide popularity. Taste the good old days. Its appearance may not look good but when you taste one, you would understand what it means by 'looks are deceiving'. A plum gem wrapped inside hard maltose sugar, you get small bursts of sourish taste mixed with sweetness. The maltose shell may melt slightly during shipment but all you have to do is to put it in the fridge for 10 minutes before enjoying it.
